As China Region President, I manage the origination, analysis and post-investment analysis of our China investments. I also supervise the operations for our China team and act as a bridge between our New York office and the Shanghai team in order to maintain a streamlined operations model.

I worked as a business consultant for seven years in several multinational consulting firms, including Andersen Consulting, BearingPoint and IBM Global Business Services. I accumulated valuable experience at these firms, developing a deep understanding of how to effectively empower enterprises and their people to realize their fullest potential.

2009 was a memorable time for me at Barron. We were able to explore numerous innovative and exciting investment ideas and areas due to the volatility of the markets. I appreciated not only the fruitful success we achieved but, more importantly, the valuable experience we acquired from that extraordinary year for the financial markets.

Tough choice! We seek high returns on investment while making a difference in people's lives and leaving the planet in a better place. Clean technology and the health industry are two of the top choices, which fulfill that goal.

Chinese New Year is always the biggest holiday and most joyful celebration for Chinese people. Also, this is a particularly peaceful time for me, as it's the longest email and phone call-free period of the year and is spent with my family.

My generation of Chinese people has the good fortune to live in an extremely interesting time in Chinese history. We are witnessing tremendous changes in the life of our nation and in our own lives. Therefore, I try to help those born into less fortunate situations than I to have equal opportunities to receive education and healthcare, and access to resources for changing their lives for the better.
